If you’ve read this blog for any length of time, you likely know that I am a huge proponent of enabling small businesses through technology, especially online technology.
“Cloud Computing” is the umbrella term for doing just that.
It comes from an old information technology convention where the WAN (wide-area-network) outside of your companies LAN (local-area-network) used to be drawn in the shape of a cloud. In other words, the cloud was “everything else out there which we use, but is not part of our company (imagine me waving my hand and saying, “Yeah, it’s out there somewhere”).
