One of the least expensive items to sell online is your expertise. You already have have it, there are likely folks who want it and, perhaps most importantly, you have a great way to deliver it via the Internet.

Mindbites – this site allows you to upload, market and sell videos and other materials. It’s user-friendly for both seller and buyer and has some neat features such as the ability to bundle a number of videos into one course which can be bought all at once.
Sparkeo – another site that allows you upload and sell your expertise though videos. They have a built-in affiliate solution which is a great way for your to extend your marketing reach.
Knowledge Genie – a blog-like platform that allows you to create a “Genie” which integrates you knowledge delivered in multiple media formats (video, text, etc.) which you can then market and sell.

Yeah, it’s interesting – when I first started out and wanted to sell courses online, nothing like this was around. You had to cobble together 2 or more solutions to create a way to sell video or ebooks or any other infoproduct.
That’s the great thing about markets – someone saw the need and made a product to fill it!

I was just commenting to a friend yesterday that every job you have is really a job that pays for your brain. Even in a job that is pure physical labor, you need to know what to do and when.
So if you get paid for anything today, you’re already getting paid for what you know. The key is to get paid for your knowledge while sitting on a beach. 🙂

I know a lot of people who would continue to do what they do today even if they won the lottery. Especially when it comes to sharing and teaching, work can be very rewarding beyond financial measure.
However, that food, shelter and clothes thing IS a strong incentive to charge for knowledge. 🙂

Thanks for sharing this article with us. Another tool we can use to sell our expertise online is Ether. This site allows you to accept phone calls from customers who will pay for your skills and knowledge. You will recieve an Ether phone number, and you can put that number on business cards, websites, or in signature file in forums and emails. Signing up is free and easy, but they take a 15% commission out of your earnings to cover their expenses.
